As the calendar moves into September, our thoughts turn to sending the kids back to school and the change in seasons. Whether you already live here or are visiting, there are still plenty of fun happenings around Montgomery County. Listed below are some of our most popular events planned for September, so you can get out and enjoy part of what makes this area so incredible.

The 15th annual The Woodlands Fall Home and Garden Show will be held on September 2nd- 3rd at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Learn about the newest products and ideas for your home. Bring your antique treasures for Dr. Lori to be appraised for free. Enjoy live cooking demos and samples throughout the day. Bring photos and measurements of any room you are looking to paint; Sherwin Williams paint experts will be on hand to help you transform your space.

Beginning September 7th, Market Street in The Woodlands brings back their popular fall concert series. Enjoy a different concert each Thursday evening in September. Bring a chair or blanket and join the crowd on the lawn, or relax on the patio of a Market Street restaurant.

The Montgomery Wine and Music Fest comes to Historic Downtown Montgomery on September 16th. Sixteen wineries from across the great state of Texas will have tastings available. There will also be a craft beer wall and children’s area. Music will be playing at the Old Ice House Main Stage including Presley Lewis, Bart Woytek, Jason Allen, Jesse Raub, Jr. and Josh Ward. Acts at the Woodforest Bank Stage include Emily Cole, Summer Ashly, Obsolete August, Gary Kyle and Fabulous Rhythm Kings. There will also be an open mic stage for you to showcase your talent!

The Woodforest Craft Fest returns for the second year to the Christine Allen Nature Park in Montgomery, on September 23rd. Come and sample local stouts, lagers and ales, and enjoy family-friendly activities. Willow Creek Junction, Brando Kingz and DJ Chico will provide music for the day. Entry to the event is free, and food will be available for purchase.
